Chase presenter Bradley Walsh reportedly received a mixed reception when he walked into a pub during a break from filming a new show nearby.

A pub manager has revealed what Bradley Walsh was like during a visit to her pub in Wiltshire. While her colleagues instantly recognized the TV presenter, Erin Williams, who took control of the pub last year, admitted she had no idea who he was – and even told The Chase presenter as much.
Erin said she grew up in South Africa and doesn’t always recognize British celebrities, although her teammates recognized him straight away.
Speaking to the Gazette and Herald, she said players and staff were delighted to see him, with the pub’s social media co-ordinator Kate declaring: “Oh my God, can you believe he’s here?”
Erin went on to explain that she apologized to Bradley for not recognizing him, and he responded with a witty remark.
“I’m South African, so I had no idea who he was,” she said. “He posed for a photo for us and I said to him, ‘I’m really sorry, but I don’t know who you are.’
Recounting Bradley’s reaction, she continued: “He laughed and said, ‘It’s okay, I don’t know who you are either.’

The 66-year-old is believed to have walked into the Crown Inn in Broad Hinton during a break from filming.
He is reportedly working on a new series called Out of This World, which is described as a mixture of science, curiosity and comedy.
In addition to his new project, the host is also introducing The Chase Around the World, a new spin-off that takes the quiz format overseas. The first episode featured six teams racing around Rome solving questions and puzzles.
The slowest duo to finish then went head to head with pursuers Anne Hegerty (The Governess) and Mark Labbett (The Beast).
The series takes place in four other countries, with the next episode taking place in Barcelona.
There, the teams will face challenges set by Jenny Ryan (“The Vixen”) and Darragh Ennis (“The Menace”). Correct answers will give them the opportunity to race through the city and reach Walsh before their competitors.

And for those who fall behind, there is a serious penalty: the last team to arrive must face the Chasers in a face-off, while the winners move on to the next location.
Reflecting on the new format, Bradley said: “I would describe it as The Chase… but all over the world!
“The locations were incredible. I really enjoyed it, I really did, but again, I wasn’t racing, I was literally racing around the cities we were in.”
The Chase Around the World continues tonight at 9pm on ITV. “The Chase” also airs weekdays from 17:00 on the same channel.
