Ashley’s trail is over. The bartender became the first person kicked out of the house this season. She is grateful for this experience and knows exactly who she wants to see next.
John Powell: Nice talking to you. How are you today?
Ashley Traill: Oh, I’m doing good. How are you, John?
John Powell: Okay, thanks! Luckily, you had a few days to relax and think about everything. How do you rate the overall impression now?
Ashley Trail: I’m so grateful to have ever been in the BB house and to have been there for a week, but even to have been in the cast I’m so grateful! I wish I was still there. Honestly, I want to be a part of the new drama they are going through.
John Powell: You managed to catch up a little. What’s the most surprising thing you’ve learned or learned about what’s going on there?
Ashley Traill: I guess I didn’t know there was such a rock-solid alliance between Red Corner and Tool Shed, but Haley, Chuck, and Camu were collaborating with Angela, Barrett Drew? I thought: damn! They’re in the same set as each other, and I think I just didn’t fully grasp it.
John Powell: Where do you think you failed? What do you think you need to do if you want to return? What would you change about your game?
Ashley Trail: From the very beginning I felt like I was in a bad position in my game. Socially, I feel like I’m not taken seriously. Plus, competitively, I never even had to really compete until I was fighting for my life in Block Buster. So I feel like I wasn’t taken seriously as a competitor, so that was already a failure.

However, what I could do personally, without all the outside noise, is really just trusted word of mouth, perhaps more about people who have said they want to keep me. However, you can’t always trust that people in the Big Brother house will do things for you. So, whenever I received advice to go and campaign, divide the house against each other and campaign for my vote, I needed to campaign for that vote because the people who said they were going to keep me safe were not going to be enough.
John Powell: Your vote was unanimous. Who were you really surprised by watching the vote?
Ashley Trail: Shocked and surprised that I didn’t at least get Angela’s vote, right? Barrett and probably Drew too, simply because they were so vocal about their support for me. So, I was really shocked because you certainly don’t have to show any loyalty on the first day, but it’s the same thing since they don’t have to hold any loyalty to the other party to see that they’re completely with them. Obviously, not everyone is completely on board with each other. This is crazy for the first week.
John Powell: It must have been really surprising when it came to Angela because you were very close to her in the house.
Ashley Trail: I felt a really good connection with Angela. We would start chatting and it would get deep and intense, but at the same time it would be fun and I could just trust her. She shared news of her sadness with me. I shared with her and was definitely expecting her voice.
John Powell: I’m going to give you a little time to get back here. Who do you hope goes next, Ashley?
Ashley Traill: Dare I say? On a personal level, this is not hostility. However, I think she hurt my Melody performance. Simply because, in all honesty, I might still be in the house if she hadn’t left and given away what I told her when I trusted her and trusted her.
John Powell: If you were to return to the Big Brother house, maybe for another season, who out of all these people would you not want to live with and why?

Ashley Traill: Oh my god, this is crazy! You know what? I’m just going to go with the Crop Dusters in the house. If I was in the kitchen eating some Clif bars and there was a slight stench under my nose, whoever was in my vicinity, I don’t need them.
John Powell: Who do you think people should trust and who do you think people shouldn’t trust at all at this time?
Ashley Traill: Oh my god, I mean, you know what? No one can be completely 100% transparent. However, Dee and Devon seem to be playing a pretty fair game, especially since Devens is simply saying what he thinks of Rome at the nominations. It was crazy! I see a lot of skepticism about Drew being able to play both sides, but that’s good for him. So if I was on the same level as him, I might be a little nervous if he wasn’t completely honest.
John Powell: Right now, if they called you, if they sent you a message, would you come back and play again, and what would you do differently this time?
Ashley Traill: I would pick up the phone in a heartbeat! Hello! I wouldn’t try to change my personality, but I would just play it cooler, like if I was going to talk to you one on one. We don’t even have to exchange each other’s favorite flowers. Let’s go ahead and jump straight into playful talk, but whenever we get together in large groups, of course I will put on a face of joy, laughter and amusement, but if they don’t reciprocate, whatever. I’ll try again with the next person and just see where people can take me seriously and think that I’m their ally.
