The striker does not regret Bayern’s refusal

Brazilian Anthony made the decision against Bayern and for Real Betis Sevilla. Now he reveals why. And a personal call from the Company is discovered.
Almost a year ago, Brazilian national team player Anthony spoke out against FC Bayern and for real Betis Seville decided. Now the 26-year-old has explained why he still doesn’t regret that choice – and what really motivated him back then.
Anthony told Bild newspaper: “I had the feeling that Betis was the right club for me. So I don’t regret this decision at all!” The choice was not just a sporting calculation. “I made this decision together with my family. At that time I was at a difficult stage in my life and needed a place where I could be happy again – not only as a footballer, but also as a person.”
