Australia shines at the Diamond League meet in London with four athletes achieving unprecedented success in the women’s 3000m.
Jessica Hull came out on top in the race at the Olympic Stadium, beating several British rivals with a season’s best time of 8:24:69.

She was joined on the podium by another Australian, Rose Davis, who set a personal best of 8:25:38 to finish second.
As if that weren’t enough, two more Australians finished in the top ten.
It was an achievement Australia had never seen before in the Diamond League, with Linden Hall and Georgia Griffith finishing sixth and seventh respectively.
It was an Australian victory, with only three of the top seven finishers coming from outside Australia, including Ireland’s Sarah Healy in third and Britain’s Hannah Nuttall in fourth.
“You have to cherish these victories and I’m very proud of her,” Hull said after her victory.
“With 500m to go Rose (Davis) took the lead and I knew she was likely to be the one to win today. “I just adjusted the plan, was patient in the front and then was really happy with how I managed to kick.
“All week I’ve just been focusing my energy on forgetting that I’m racing against time and just trying to win. When you just focus on the race, you can do things like that.”
Elsewhere, Australian women also showed off their high jump prowess.
Nikola Olislagers beat world record holder Jaroslava Maguchikh to win the competition with a jump of 2.01m, another season’s best.
And her teammate Eleanor Patterson finished third with a score of 1.96.
It was a promising performance by the Australian pairs ahead of the Commonwealth Games, which begin in Glasgow on July 23.
“I feel very good and very strong, and it usually takes me a few shows to be at my best,” Olislagers said.
“We planned to have everything in top shape for the Commonwealth Games and hopefully we’ll see some really high standards there.
“We just need to get to Glasgow healthy and I know my coach would wrap me in bubble wrap if he could. But we’re ready!”
