Andrei Santos could make his first appearance in Manchester United colors on Saturday after being included in the away squad for the pre-season friendly against Wrexham in Helsinki.
Santos, 22, became Michael Carrick’s first regular when he joined from Chelsea on Monday in a deal that could be worth up to £50 million ($67.2 million).
And, having spent a week training at Carrington, the Brazilian is part of a 25-man squad for the match against Wrexham that combines youth and experience, with several senior players, including new midfielder Youri Tielemans, still missing after their World Cup appearance.
Benjamin Sesko did not travel and the Slovenian striker is still working towards full fitness following a calf injury which forced him to miss the last three games of last season.
Harry Maguire, Brian Mbeumo, Patrick Dorgu, Leni Yoro, Luke Shaw, Aiden Haven, Mason Mount and Joshua Zirkzee are among the first-team regulars in a group that also includes youngsters Harry Amass and Shea Lacy.
Jaydan Camason will look for opportunities at right-back, while midfielders Jacob Devaney, Dan Gore and Jim Thwaites go along with Tyler and Jack Fletcher.

Cesco’s absence could open the door for young forwards Chidi Obi and Ethan Whitley, but JJ Gabriel is not included.
Goalkeeper Karl Darlow, who joined on a free transfer from Leeds this week, did not travel and veteran Tom Heaton joined Radek Vitek and Dermot Mee in the squad.
Wrexham, who are due to travel to the United States next week for a series of friendlies against Leeds, Liverpool and Sunderland, traveled to Finland without Josh Windass and Max Cleworth.

“From a fitness point of view we are where we need to be,” manager Phil Parkinson said. “We have a few guys, like most clubs, who have come back later with a couple of little things carried over from last season.
“However, we are not too worried about it and the boys are in good condition. Some of them are not quite ready to play this weekend and will train here instead.”
“Josh has been running this week. He had a slight problem with his calf muscle, but he is in great shape and there is no need to rush him too much. Max had problems with his Achilles and it is an ongoing problem. But we think this offseason and the slow recovery now will be good for him.”
