Thanks to their previous work, most famous actors have a reputation that they carry into their next shoot whether they like it or not, which made Julia Roberts feel more than a little in awe.

You’d think that a professional actor, especially one who has sat at the top of the acting ladder for as long as Roberts, would be able to separate the artist from the art. To be fair, she did eventually, but for a while, all she could see when looking at her love interest was a guy who killed people with a bolt pistol.
