Meghan Markle celebrated her Netflix lifestyle show Love, Meghan by receiving her first Daytime Emmy nomination, months after it was cancelled.
“Huge congratulations to the amazing cast, producers and crew behind Love, Meghan on @netflix,” the Duchess of Sussex wrote on Instagram early Wednesday morning.
“We are nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Lifestyle Series!” she added.

Markle’s show will face off against A Different Breed, George to the Rescue, Motherhood and Paws at the 53rd annual awards show, airing live on October 30.
The lifestyle and cooking series premiered on Netflix in March 2025.
According to the streaming platform, “Love, Megan” reimagines “the lifestyle programming genre by combining how-to instruction and candid conversation with friends new and old.”

Love, Megan ran for two seasons and included a holiday special.
However, despite praise from some, the film was met with harsh criticism, with many British viewers branding Markle “tone-deaf” and “needy”.
In January, Page Six exclusively reported that Markle’s show would not be returning for a third season after the heavily criticized second season failed to crack Netflix’s top 10 shows.

Sources tell us the mom-of-two will instead focus on building her lifestyle brand, As Ever.
Two months later, we exclusively reported that Netflix had decided to cut ties with Markle’s lifestyle brand.
“Her show didn’t happen, so there was no point in continuing the collaboration,” an industry source said.
A Netflix spokesperson told us: “Meghan’s passion for enhancing everyday moments in beautiful yet simple ways inspired the creation of the As Ever brand, and we’re thrilled to have played a role in bringing that vision to life.”

A rep for As Ever told Page Six that the company is “grateful for Netflix’s partnership during launch and our first year.”
“We have experienced significant and rapid growth and As Ever is now ready to stand on its own,” the spokesperson added. “We have an exciting year ahead and we can’t wait to share more.”
In 2020, Markle and her husband Prince Harry signed a multi-year, $100 million deal with Netflix, nearly nine months after they stepped down as senior members of the royal family.
