Argentina is looking to win back-to-back World Cup titles, with goalkeeper Emiliano “Emi” Martinez (who also goes by the nickname “Dibu”) aiming to win back-to-back Golden Glove awards.

Martinez received the FIFA Golden Glove award while celebrating with his wife Amanda and daughter Ava after Argentina won the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
In all this, he is supported by his wife Amanda Gama, who is now called Mandinha Martinez. Here’s what you need to know about wife Amy Martinez:
Gama from England.
She was born in England to a Portuguese father and a Brazilian mother, who owned a restaurant in London. Although her name is Amanda, she is also called Mandinha.
Amy and Mandinha started dating in 2013.
When Amy signed for Arsenal, he began eating at her parents’ restaurant. “My parents had a restaurant in London that was popular with Arsenal players, and (Amy) started coming here when he was 17 or 18. I was at university at the time and came to work in the restaurant to help my parents. So, on the weekends, Amy was there,” Mandinha said in 2022 (translated from Spanish).
She added: “He was very shy. And so was I, a little bit. I knew a friend of his; I’d seen him a few times on the street and because he’s South American I thought he might say hello.” Their apartments in London were next to each other, but he never recognized her on the street. “I was walking to work and passed him and asked his friend, ‘Why does he lower his head every time he sees me?’ I thought he was arrogant,” Mandinha said.
Finally he texted her: “I’m not arrogant, I’m just shy, but if you want, let’s go for coffee.”

When they started dating, Mandinha said of Amy: “He was always very nice. He’s very handsome. I always thought he was the most handsome man in the world. But he was always so nice to me. He’s not the type to give you expensive things. He gave you flowers, wrote me letters. I still have his letters.”
The couple got married in 2017 and now have two children: son Santi (born 2018) and daughter Ava (born 2021).

She is an interior designer.
According to her website, she launched Mandinha Martinez Interiors in 2014 and it has “steadily grown into a successful and award-winning full residential design studio.”
The page description adds: “Mandinha Martinez is best known in the UK and Europe as Amanda Martinez. She gained experience pioneering the design of practical luxury interiors for children just ten years ago. What sets Amanda Martinez’s designs apart from the rest is her attention to detail, her attitude towards the relationship between creating beautiful spaces and child development (sic), resulting in a safe and secure environment for children. The intensive research behind room design encourages play and imagination or relaxation.” sleep.”
Mandinha also launched MiSueños Kids, a luxury children’s brand. “Our mission has always been to create dreamy, functional spaces and provide products that parents can trust,” she said at the opening of the Tamworth store. “We sell so much online and customers love our beautifully presented packaging service, and there isn’t a brand in my store that I wouldn’t buy for my kids.”
