Team Liquid beat Xtreme Gaming 2:1 after a three-set series. Rune Eaters won against Virtus.pro with the same score.

LGD Gaming left no chance for MOUZ (2-0) and therefore continued its journey in the Survival tournament. The last meeting will take place on Wednesday between Vici Gaming and Prime.

MWI began with eight matches split between Groups A and B. Despite the name, it is a double elimination format with an upper and lower bracket.

In Group A, SAETA pulled off a surprise by beating first team Team Falcons 2–0. Ray Young’s team dominated Aurora Gaming by the same score.

Geltek Cyber Team then won 2:0 against Geekay Esports, and Twisted Minds defeated Virtus.pro without losing a single round.

Team Vitality got their Group B campaign off to a great start with a 2-0 win over MIBR.LOS. Gen.G Esports also beat FUT Esports with a score of 2:0.

Galaxy Phoenix dominated Natus Vincere in two sets. The final match of the day pitted Falcon Daisies against second team Team Falcons, with the Saudi outfit winning 2-1.

After the first day, several favorites responded, including Team Vitality, Gen.G Esports and LGD Gaming. SAETA, for its part, pulled off one of the biggest surprises of the tournament by eliminating Team Falcons as soon as it entered the fray.

On Wednesday, the schedule promises to be busy: the start of the League of Legends and Free Fire tournaments, the end of Survival on Dota 2 and the rest of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang meetings.
