Holly Ramsay and Adam Petey’s sister Bethany reportedly fell out after a private phone conversation, marking another twist in the family dispute that surrounded Holly and Adam’s December wedding.
A new report from the Daily Mail names the conversation as the reason for the new rift between the two women. The Daily Mail reports that a phone conversation between Holly and Bethany marked a turning point in their relationship, calling the conversation “brutal.”
Neither Holly nor Bethany have publicly confirmed this information.
Holly and Bethany were publicly intimate a few weeks earlier
Adam and Holly celebrated Bethany’s birthday on April 22 with touching Instagram stories. Adam called her “sister” and Holly called her the “best sister-in-law” and shared photos, including one taken on the morning of the wedding.
The relationship still seemed intact a month later when a “Missed My Girlfriend” photo of Bethany and Holly circulated and Holly responded by calling her “Sis.”
The reports came just after people accused Bethany of turning her back on her family and going to the wedding. She joined Holly’s sisters Megan and Tilly Ramsay in Victoria Beckham’s red bridal gowns while Adam’s mother Caroline, father Mark and brothers James and Richard were absent.
Bethany said she was ‘caught in the middle’
Bethany set out her side of the story in March, telling the Evening Standard that it had been “very difficult times” and that she had been “at the center of the scandal”.
She said that she made peace with Caroline for the sake of her two children, who remained close to their grandmother. Bethany also described Caroline as a “wonderful grandmother and a good mum” and said she was “very sad” that she missed Adam’s wedding.
At the same time, Bethany spoke warmly of the Ramsays, calling them a “good family” that made her feel welcome.
The wedding rift has already put Bethany in a difficult position.
Holly and Adam married at Bath Abbey on December 27, 2025, in a ceremony attended by members of the Ramsay family and dignitaries, including the Beckhams.
Reports at the time stated that most of Adam’s immediate family did not attend the ceremony due to the ongoing disagreement.
The Evening Standard newspaper reported that Bethany was the only member of his family at the wedding and served as a bridesmaid.

On June 20, Holly and Adam announced they were expecting their first child together, a girl, due in December 2026.
The couple wrote that “Baby Ramsay-Petey” will arrive in December and that they can’t wait to meet their daughter. Adam also has a son, George, from his previous relationship with Éireanedd Munro.
