Season opening at Hertha: the wait continues

“They always tell us that the young people are good,” shrugs Hertha fan Christa. It also saves money, so she likes this approach. A Daniel fan, on the other hand, worries: “You can’t do this with just young people. “Berlin Way” or not.”

Midfielder Paul Seguin, apparently, is not entirely free from concerns. “We’ll all try to stay calm,” he says in a brief on-stage conversation. The current small group, of course, also has advantages in learning, but it needs an “axis”.

Seguin then sits down at his assigned table in the autograph area and begins signing fan articles and T-shirts, taking photographs and chatting with the Hertha team. The line for the autograph spot doesn’t seem to end, but at least it’s mostly in the shade.
