Liverpool have reportedly renewed their interest in signing Manchester United’s top midfielder as Andoni Iraola continues to try to make his mark in the first team.
The Reds have now completed the pre-agreed signing of centre-back Jeremy Jacquet from Rennes, as well as beating Newcastle to secure Osasuna striker Victor Muñoz.
Iraola, however, still wants to add a replacement for club legend Mohamed Salah, while also looking at depth in defense and midfield.
Reports in the Brazilian media claim that Liverpool have renewed their interest in Wolves star Joao Gomes, but the subject of this particular report is France World Cup star Manu Kone.
