Kristin Cavallari admits she did the same parenting thing that got another celebrity mom into trouble with fans.
During a recent interview with the Aspire with Emma Grede podcast, the 39-year-old reality star revealed that she doesn’t give her children a right to life and “if they want something, they have to work for it.”
“I try to be aware of that because they’re growing up in a very fortunate situation and I want them to know it’s my money. It’s not your money,” she explained. “Something as small as a flying coach. I fly first class. That was important to me as they grew older.”
She joked that now that they’re old enough and she can trust them not to fight while they’re alone on the plane, it’s easy for her to leave them and say, “Bye guys, have fun out there.”

SCOTT Eastwood credits his famous father for the work ethic that gave him exposure to the bulls of the film industry.
Fans loved the idea of Cavallari enjoying a luxury flight on her own while her kids sat in economy class, with one YouTube comment reading: “She really knows how to fly bus for her kids while she’s in first class haha.”
Cavallari has three children with ex-husband Jay Cutler: sons Camden, 13, Jackson, 12, and daughter Sailor, 10.
On the podcast, The Hills star also opened up about her divorce from Cutler, whom she was married to from 2013 to 2022, saying that “the confidence she had in leaving her marriage gave her the success” of her jewelry and skincare brand Uncommon James.
“It’s interesting because if I didn’t have Unusual James, I could take half his money, right? But because I owned this company, we had a really big asset on our balance sheet.

“I didn’t receive anything, which I’m so happy about now. But I don’t receive any money from my ex-husband. I had to give him half the value of Unusual James, cash, real estate and all. Yes. Isn’t this interesting?
The Very Cavallari star’s confession came shortly after singer Jessica Simpson defended herself for sitting in first class with her mother but without her children and her then-husband Eric Johnson.
Simpson’s first class solo travel became public knowledge after her ex-husband Nick Lachey, who also flew with Simpson, exposed her during an appearance on an episode of Watch What Happens Live! in May.
“I think her children and she – I don’t know where they are, but – her husband may have been on the plane, but not with us,” he said, later confirming they were “in a separate class of service.”
