Atlanta United fans know that the magic of game days doesn’t stop at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. A network of official partner pubs across the city turns every game, including the FIFA World Cup™, into a full-blown party. From local dive clubs to bustling breweries, Irish pubs to modern watering holes, these establishments have big screens, rowdy crowds and enough pints to spark chants and make strangers feel like family.

Cafe-brewery
With two locations—one in Little Five Points and the other in South Downtown—the restaurant and bar has been voted “America’s Best Soccer Bar” by Men in Blazers. Early match? Grab a coffee and head out for brunch—think steak and eggs or biscuits and gravy with a Bloody Mary or mimosa—while you watch the game on TV indoors or outdoors. With gifts like tickets, t-shirts, scarves and souvenirs, you’ll likely leave more dressed up than you arrived.

Irish Pub Fado
Three-level modern pub with a patio bar. This iconic establishment in the sophisticated Buckhead Village neighborhood is known for its high-end stores like Theory and Veronica Beard. (It also has a smaller branch in Midtown.) Order Irish, Belgian and American craft beers from the menu, as well as high-gravity flights, and don’t miss the crispy fish and chips, made with cod caught in the frozen waters off Iceland.

Willie B.
At Silverbacks Park Sports Complex in Doraville, home to several adult soccer leagues, this on-field bar offers an eclectic menu of crowd favorites like Flaming Mac and Cheese, Gorilla’d Cheese (toasted garlic bread with melted cheese, chipotle aioli and tomato jam), and a variety of street tacos. Wash it down with one of the 14 beers on tap, including local craft drinks like Creature Comforts Tropicalia.

Irish Pub O’Sullivans
This pub is located right on the bright green Decatur Square thanks to its red façade. The fun watering hole attracts many passers-by armed with shopping bags from Decatur’s trendy boutiques. Inside, bartenders pour pints of Carlsberg pilsner and Smithwick red ale, as well as Irish mules, Irish sours and Irish coffee. With over 350 whiskey offerings, bourbon flights are a good way to get to know the area. Be sure to order the popular curry chips – homemade fries soaked in curry and topped with herbs.

Tavern
Truist Park in Cumberland is home to the Atlanta Braves, so it’s no surprise that the adjacent The Battery Atlanta complex attracts many baseball fans. But one of the most popular pubs has become a gathering place for football fans. The tavern offers a cozy and sporty atmosphere with warm wood, red brick walls and a crackling fireplace. On warm days, open the garage doors to get some fresh air. There are many giveaways during Atlanta United games, including official team jerseys.

Chamblee Tap & Market
This new brasserie features a mini food hall and 30 craft beers and wines on tap, nestled among the restaurants and antique shops of Chambly’s vibrant downtown. South End Smokehouse serves Texas-style barbecue, while Sidecar Coffee serves iced drinks and lattes for an instant energy boost. On game days, members of the Atlanta United street team often appear just before kickoff.

Beer garden
This German beer garden in the city center next to the Mercedes-Benz Stadium is right in the center of the action. Get in the spirit on the elevated patio, decorated with United flags in red, black and gold throughout. Try the Hofbrau lager and giant pretzels and cross your fingers that the ticket giveaway ends in your favor.

SweetWater Brewing Company
Once part of the “creative office community” Armor Yards (home to nonprofits, architecture firms and coffee shops), the small brewery is now one of the largest purveyors of craft beer in the Southeast. In addition to the tours, it hosts massive football parties where visitors can choose from 24 heady beers; be sure to try the Atlanta United-inspired Rowdy Peach IPA. Soft drinks are also available.

Park Tavern
It’s hard to believe that the granite building that houses this bustling sports bar, located in a lively corner of Piedmont Park just off the Beltline, was once the park’s horse stables. The 30 TVs and two huge screens showing the main games are energizing, so be prepared to high-five complete strangers when United score. Dogs are welcome on the popular patio—another reason to “park” here.

Abstract paintings and sage-green banquettes create a sophisticated setting for watching sports in the quaint East Atlanta Village. Every Atlanta United goal means a free kick at the bar, so be sure to sample world cuisine like lomo saltado (Peruvian steak) and lasagnaqui (marinated feta grilled with olives, peppers, honey and pita bread). Game day specials include Yuengling Pitcher with Wings for $20.

Albert
A short walk from the Inman Park/Reynoldstown MARTA station, Albert is a neighborhood bar with Your health energy. The owner’s father was Albert Einstein’s godson, and framed portraits of the famous scientist hang on the exposed brick walls. You’re smart to show up early for their game day viewing parties, as this cozy spot can get crowded quickly. Be sure to try the signature buffalo egg rolls and don’t leave the area before wandering the nearby residential streets lined with Victorian houses.
