Zendaya channeled Nike of Samothrace in a dramatic, draped white dress with wings at the New York premiere of “The Odyssey” on Tuesday night.
For the grand finale of the blockbuster’s press tour, Law Roach dressed the actress in a Matières Fécales gown with a sculptural flowing bodice and a deliberately broken train. The garment featured a side slit that added extra drama and a slight peek-a-boo effect. Angel wings adorned the actress’s back.

The dress was first shown on the Matières Fécales runway in Paris at the brand’s March 2025 show. For Hannah Rose Dalton and Stephen Raj Bhaskaran, best known as the creative minds behind Matières Fécales, the past year has been a watershed moment. “Started a year ago with just an idea—we created the first collection in a year and a half—just doing our thing and then launching it,” Bhaskaran told WWD in March. “Now to see people wearing these things, it’s so new for us, it’s been really exciting.”
There is no better model than Zendaya, who continues to be in a league of her own on the red carpet.
In contrast to her bold look on Tuesday night, Zendaya kept her jewelry low-key, opting for shimmering Chopard earrings with gold hardware.
Continuing the all-white theme, the “Drama” actress donned white pointy-toe pumps with inverted heels that mimic the curve of the wings on her back.

A day before the film’s New York City premiere, Zendaya was spotted in the Big Apple channeling her character Athena from The Odyssey in vintage Sophia Webster gladiator sandals, helping to cement the return of the longtime shoe style. The Greek silhouette has since been revived thanks to the Euphoria star.
