As Lamin Yamal looks to win his first World Cup with Spain, he will be supported by his girlfriend Ines Garcia Santos. (Her name is also Ines Garica.) After he scored his first goal at the World Cup, he said DAZN he dedicated it to “my mother, my girlfriend, my friends and everyone back home in Mataro.”
The Spanish social media influencer, who just celebrated her 21st birthday, and Yamal, who turned 19 yesterday, met online. Rumors about their relationship began earlier this year when they were spotted on holiday in Greece; they made their first public appearance in May at an FC Barcelona dinner. “People started seeing us together when we went to Greece,” she said. “I’ve known Lamin for a lot longer. Not exactly three years, but a lot more months than people realize, even now.”
“We gave everything time,” she added. “We also talked for a long time before seeing each other.”

She is from Seville.
Although there isn’t much information about Garcia online, she says in her Instagram bio that she is from Seville.
Yamal and Garcia met online.
“You’re probably expecting some kind of perfect, crazy love story. It’s like I saw him in the store, the way he supposedly was… my savior, my hero,” she said of their first meeting, according to Hello!. “Here’s the real story: 3, 2, 1…social media!”
Since they made their relationship public, she regularly attends all World Cup games and wears a Yamal T-shirt.
She’s a Belieber.
After Justin Bieber was announced as a halftime participant at the World Cup finals, Garcia shared it on her story, writing in Spanish: “Baby, do whatever it takes to make it to the finals. Are you listening?? Whatever it takes,” she wrote in Spanish.
The pair also appeared at Bad Bunny’s Barcelona concert in Madrid.

Garcia is afraid of flying.
“I love to travel, but I’m afraid to fly,” she said. The Woman Madame Figaro. “The two things don’t really go together, but I’m gradually overcoming my fears. I’m going to do a lot of travel this summer, both in Spain and abroad, and you’ll see that.”
