It was very cold again in Perth this morning, but the winter chill will quickly give way to sunshine.
Early risers braved the cold as temperatures dropped to just 3.6C at 7.02am on Saturday.
Despite the frosty start, the Bureau of Meteorology is forecasting a mostly sunny day with a high of 21C and a 95 per cent chance of no rain.
Light northeasterly winds will turn northerly in the middle of the day and weaken in the afternoon, creating ideal conditions for getting outside.
But the sun won’t last all weekend.
Clouds will increase on Sunday as a cold front approaches, bringing a high chance of morning showers and cooler temperatures of up to 19C.
As the front moves through, northwest winds will shift to southwest during the day.
Conditions will improve again on Monday, with a slight chance of isolated rain, temperatures reaching 19C and light winds.
Tuesday is expected to be another cold morning with temperatures dropping to 6C before reaching 18C with partly cloudy skies.
The middle of next week will bring a welcome burst of sunshine, with temperatures forecast to reach 21 degrees on Wednesday after a bright start of 7 degrees.
Thursday will be the best day of the week with mostly sunny skies and a high of 22 degrees.
A few showers are expected to return on Friday, although rainfall totals are forecast to remain light with only an average chance of showers.
