Air France fights for the Middle East
Beirut ban extended
Dubai International Airport is operating as normal
Despite the suspension of Air France operations, Dubai International Airport (DXB) continues to operate at full capacity.
Dubai Airports CEO Paul Griffiths said the airport was operating at “almost full capacity”.
More than six million passengers have passed through Dubai since the start of the regional conflict.
Passenger traffic remains high as international airlines gradually restore their services.
Etihad extends flight cancellations in Kuwait
Etihad Airways has canceled the following services for operational reasons:
EY653 Abu Dhabi – Kuwait
EY654 Kuwait – Abu Dhabi
These cancellations have now been extended until July 24th.
Flights to Bahrain canceled
Etihad has also canceled some flights to Bahrain:
Passengers are advised to update their contact details on the Etihad website to receive the latest notifications.

US issues global travel warning
The US State Department issued a warning to American citizens around the world.
The security situation in the Middle East remains unpredictable.

Why some foreign airlines haven’t returned
According to Dubai Airports CEO Paul Griffiths:
Dubai airport itself is operating as usual.
Some European airlines remain subject to government travel advice.
Insurance requirements have also delayed the return of some carriers.
Airlines continue to use alternative flight routes through Saudi Arabia and southern air corridors to avoid airspace restrictions.
Emirates
Dubai-Kuwait flights EK853, EK855, EK857 and EK859 were canceled on 21 July. Return flights EK854, EK856, EK858 and EK860 from Kuwait to Dubai have also been cancelled.
Air Arabia
The following services have been cancelled:
From Sharjah to Kuwait: G9068, G9124.
Abu Dhabi – Kuwait: 3L020
International airlines: suspension and change of flights to the UAE
Several international airlines have adjusted their flight schedules to the UAE due to regional security concerns and airspace restrictions.
