Someone alert Kel’s Squad that Domingo is coming to South Florida – just for two nights!
That’s right, “Saturday Night Live” star Marcello Hernandez, who portrays a suave mystery man from Miami in the series’ viral musical sketches, is bringing his stand-up comedy tour to Hard Rock Live at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, 1 Seminole Way, Hollywood.
Two shows will take place at 20:00:
• November 27 in Spanish
• November 28 in English
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Wednesday ($53 and up), with pre-sale seats beginning at 10 a.m. Tuesday at myhrl.com.
The tour stop marks a homecoming for the comedian, writer and actor, who grew up in Miami and was raised by his single mom of Cuban descent (the inspiration for his “Protective Mom” skit on “SNL”). He explores their family dynamics, culture and identity in his debut comedy special, American Boy, which premiered on Netflix last January.
Hernandez, 28, is also known for his “Immigrant Dad Talk Show” sketch, appearances on “Weekend Update” and his spot-on impersonation of stand-up star Sebastian Maniscalco (who, incidentally, is also performing at Hard Rock Live Nov. 19-21).
Before making his SNL debut in October 2022 during the show’s 48th season, Hernandez was known in South Florida as the host and creative director of Only In Dade, where he posted weekly comedic videos about life in Miami-Dade County on social media.
This week, Hernandez will host the 2026 ESPY Sports Awards, which will air live Wednesday at 8 pm on ABC from the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center in New York City.
He was recognized by Time magazine as one of the 2025 Latino Leaders, named to The Hollywood Reporter’s Latino Powers list, selected as one of Variety’s “Power of Young Hollywood” honorees, and received a Webby Award for Outstanding Comedy Performance for his work on “SNL.”
And he’s also ventured into Netflix films, appearing in Happy Gilmore 2 and 72 Hours, both scheduled for release on July 24.
