Imagine the worst budget flight of your life and then turn the chaos level up to 100. This is the premise “Dear passengers”, a wild new co-op game from Flexus coming to PC later this year. Turn? You are not suffering passengers. Instead, you and your friends join the crew of the world’s worst airline, desperately coping with chaotic cabins, angry passengers and mid-air disasters.
The game’s trailer was released on Tuesday (July 14), and the gameplay is based on the same themes as other popular friends games. Friendslop is a term used to describe cheap, colorful and fun multiplayer games with friends. Last year, games like REPO Peak, RV There Yet, and others went viral and gained cult popularity.
Dear passengers seems to follow the same pattern. The game revolves around players balancing risky selections of passengers and cargo for huge payouts, while also battling unpredictable weather and wild ragdoll-style physics that send luggage, snacks and passengers flying.
Teamwork splits the crew between cockpit piloting and cockpit control. When disaster strikes, you must step outside the ship mid-flight to repair the hull, or pick up a machine gun to fend off oncoming pirates.
“Play in co-op as the crew of the worst airline in the world. Your plane is falling apart, your cargo is illegal, and passenger safety is hardly on the list,” reads the game’s description on Steam.

“I love Friendslop”
As of the last update, the trailer has received millions of views on social media as most users said they can’t wait to play it with their friends.
“Need to get the boys to play this omg,” one user said, while another added: “I love friendslop, I’m totally into this, the best genre of video games.”
A third commented: “This looks really fun and reading about the game loop sounds really fun, like trying your luck on a dangerous loot situation.”
A fourth said: “This looks absolutely ridiculous. Sign me up. This looks fun.”
