An Estrie transport company owner who was the victim of a $7,000 fuel scam in the US is issuing a warning to the transport industry.

“Now this is a big problem for transport,” condemns Magazine Philippe Laprise, Director of Operations at ADL Transport. This is rare for companies that could not be contacted.”
“It hurts. That’s $7,000 that I worked for, earned, and lost for no reason,” he lamented.
In recent days, the head of this family-run SME, with about fifteen drivers, has lifted the lid on this disaster in the media. Road transport.

In the case of Philippe Laprise of ADL Transport, this happened in recent months in the United States, at Irving gas stations.
“There were four transactions with different company fuel cards in states we don’t even travel to, like California or Texas,” he claims.
Irving did not want to reimburse him, although he claims that he did everything to prove that it was not his trucks that went to fill up with diesel fuel.
Philippe Laprise never found out what happened. Magazine could not get details from Irving on Tuesday.
