But the US will not do this, he added. Because, Trump argues, if they were all eliminated, the United States would have no one to subsequently negotiate a nuclear deal with. Trump said he was shocked to see people crying at Khamenei’s funeral. Iran is now begging for a deal with them. Currently, both sides have temporarily suspended nuclear negotiations until Khamenei’s death rites are completed. Both sides agreed that there would be no attacks on each other during this mourning period.

Trump also made statements about his relationship with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
