Three people were killed Friday night when a motorist tried to pass a vehicle turning right on a road in the Laurentian Mountains on the left. An analysis is currently underway to determine whether she should be charged.

The lady was traveling alone, heading north along the Boulevard Roland-Cloutier, to Lantiers, in the Laurentians. In front of her, another car was preparing to turn right.
The driver then began a maneuver to pass the vehicle on the left, according to initial information from the Sûreté du Québec (SQ). At the same time, a car moving in a southerly direction crossed his path, and a collision could not be avoided.
The driver received minor injuries. In the other car, which contained “a man, a woman and a child,” all occupants were killed, according to the SQ.
They were pronounced dead at the hospital shortly after the accident.
The section of the parkway that is also Highway 329 where the crash occurred was closed most of the evening but was reopened around 9 p.m.
An SQ investigator responded to the scene to shed light on the events.
