Brothers Andrew and Tristan Tate were arrested by federal authorities in Miami, according to the U.S. Marshals Service.
The brothers were taken into custody by the U.S. Marshals Service on a sealed warrant, agency spokesman Brady McCarron told The Associated Press.
Video posted by TMZ shows authorities escorting the handcuffed brothers to vehicles near the Miami event where Andrew Tate was reportedly expected to co-host a bare-knuckle boxing tournament.
British prosecutors said they are seeking the Tate brothers’ extradition from the United States on charges of rape and sex trafficking.
The offenses are believed to have occurred between July 2010 and August 2017, the Crown Prosecution Service said in a statement.
The brothers, proponents of hyper-masculinity with millions of followers on social media, are dual US and UK citizens and moved to Romania in 2016.
They were arrested there in 2022 on charges of participating in schemes to lure women for sexual exploitation.

The brothers denied the allegations and the case was not pursued due to legal and procedural irregularities.
The former professional kickboxers have amassed a large following, especially of young men and boys, by espousing a luxurious lifestyle and unapologetic misogyny.
In Britain, the brothers are accused of abusing women in the area north of London where they grew up.
Their lawyers said they deny the charges.
Andrew Tate, 39, first reached a wider audience as a contestant on the British reality show Big Brother in 2016.
He was removed from the show when video surfaced showing Tate assaulting a woman.
Andrew Tate has amassed more than 10 million followers on X but has been banned from platforms such as YouTube, TikTok and Instagram for violating hate speech rules.
His most widely condemned rhetoric includes comments that sexually assaulted women should take some responsibility for their attacks, graphic descriptions of how he can assault women and criticism of people who seek treatment for mental illness.
The Tate brothers have consistently denied allegations of abuse and human trafficking, saying violent and misogynistic remarks were taken out of context or intended as jokes.
