Suryapet, July 11: Shame on Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, he is drying up the farmers of Telangana and giving water to Andhra by saying that he will not get 117, not even 17 seats in the upcoming elections, said BRS Suryapet district president and former Rajya Sabha member Badugula Lingaya Yadav. At a press conference organized on Saturday, Badugula reacted sharply to criticism leveled at former chief minister KCR and former ministers at a meeting held in Khammam recently. He said that if any meeting is held, then you have to do what you have done, what you have promised, what has been implemented and what needs to be implemented. He said it was ridiculous to say that there would be 185 seats according to delimitation, but they would win 119 of them. He said that people have understood your thieving intelligence, people are noticing your disappointment due to the fear of losing the next elections and even if the elections are held now, people are ready to crown KKR.
He said 100 tonnes of water was diverted to Andhra instead of switching on the Kannepalli pumping station and not supplying water to farmers. He said that despite the possibility of switching on the Kannepalli pumping station and lifting water to two or three TMCs and supplying water to Gandamalla, Kannepalli is not switching on the pumping station due to the stubborn attitude that KCR will get the name. It is not appropriate to say that if the water reaches Medigadda, thousands of acres of land will be submerged along with the Ram temple. He said that Andhra people have already diverted 27 cusecs of water to Polavaram, filled the Prakasam dam through it and are collecting water in the canals. He said that you and your ministers have done nothing for the people except giving them to Rahul Gandhi by looting the land in the name of Future City in Hyderabad. He said it is ironic that you want to make Rahul Gandhi the Prime Minister here. He said that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy made incompetent comments and insulted KCR, KTR, Harish Rao and Jagadeesh Reddy.
BRS State Secretary Y. Venkateswarlu said that it has become common practice for Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to malign Gods. He wondered if there was a God who did not slander. He said that it is not political to criticize people, but if in Andhra they are taking away water for two or three crops, then why are they drying up farmers in Telangana? Nimmala Srinivas Goud, former chairman of the district library organization, said Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has not fulfilled any of the promises he made. Retired engineers say they can turn on the Kannepali pumping station and supply water to farmers, but they are creating problems by not supplying water. Former Chairman of Perumalla Municipality Annapurna said that Revanth Reddy is an incompetent person who has made promises to women, employees, unemployed and youth from all sections of the state and cannot fulfill even a single promise.
