New Delhi, Jul 27 (PTI) Rain lashed several areas of the national capital on Monday evening with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) issuing a yellow alert and predicting that such weather will continue in several areas of Delhi till late evening.
According to the district-level IMD forecast issued at 4:24 pm, light rain and light thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds of 30-40 kmph are highly likely over parts of South East Delhi, East Delhi, Shahdara, Central Delhi, North East Delhi, South Delhi, New Delhi, South West Delhi, West Delhi, North West Delhi and North Delhi.
There was no warning from the weather service in other areas.
