Princess Charlene preparing for one of the most anticipated evenings of the summer in Monaco. On Saturday, July 18, she will join Prince Albert at Sporting Monte-Carlo for the 77th Gala of the Monaco Red Cross, a cornerstone of the Principality’s social and charitable calendar.

The 2026 edition will feature several firsts, from 360-degree arrival views to Michelin-star dining, live music and fireworks. The event will also highlight Charlene’s humanitarian role as she helps spearhead one of Monaco’s most important annual fundraising events.

What to expect at the 2026 Red Cross Gala?

The evening will be dedicated to the work done every day Red Cross Monaco and his team. It also recognizes the generosity of its donors, whose support is essential to prevent and alleviate suffering among the most vulnerable in society.

The program will include a formal dinner in the Etoile Hall, followed by a prize drawing. For the first time, guests will be treated to a breathtaking 360-degree view upon entering the Sporting Monte-Carlo lobby.

Exclusive show and night celebration

The evening will feature the premiere of the original production Monte Carlo Société des Bains de Mer, SOUL! Where the legends return.

Following the success of the 2025 edition, the show returns this season with a one-of-a-kind live performance tracing the evolution of African American musicfrom the pioneers of rock ‘n’ roll and funk to today’s R&B icons.

The holiday will continue in Jimmy’s Monte Carlowhich will be converted into a bar for the occasion. A live jazz band will entertain guests wishing to continue the celebration into the early hours.

Menu from a three Michelin star chef

Doors to the Salle des Étoiles will open at 7:45 p.m., followed by dinner by three-Michelin-starred chef Marcel Raven. He developed the menu together with Sporting Monte-Carlo chef Thierry Saez-Manzanares, as well as the culinary team and sommeliers of the Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer.

The dessert will be created by famous pastry chef Cédric Grolet. There will be a prize drawing for four top prizes and the evening will end with a fireworks display.

Commitment to art and humanism

Belgian artist Johan Cretin will donate his work “Éloge de l’Espoir” to the Monaco Red Cross. Cretin was born in 1963 and is a sculptor and pioneer of the modern ceramics revival.

The hand-sculpted wall composition belongs to his famous Series “Women’s smell”whose work has been exhibited in institutions such as the Louvre and the Pompidou Center.

At the center of the piece is a glazed red cross, reminiscent of the makeshift emblems seen in disaster zones. The image serves as a symbol of resilience and humanitarian strength.
