One lucky Australian will head into the new financial year with an extra $30 million in their bank account thanks to Tuesday night’s OzLotto draw.
The player became the only winner in the first division, taking home the entire $30 million jackpot.
Two Western Australian players also earned $39,970.05 from Division Two, which featured 10 national winners.
In Division III, 18 players from Washington State received $3,809.45.
The winning numbers were 17, 19, 24, 43, 41, 8 and 2.
The additional numbers were 12, 26 and 7.
The big win comes after a Geraldton man won a life-changing $1.8 million thanks to the Saturday Lotto last week.
A man in his 60s received the winning ticket at Rigter’s IGA in the Midwestern city and says he plans to retire from work and use his prize to travel to Thailand.
“I have always wanted to see the Yi Peng Lantern Festival in Chiang Mai,” he said.
“I’ve traveled a lot in Southeast Asia, but I haven’t seen this before.
“I want to work less and explore more – there are many remote islands in Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam that I would like to see.”
