. At the end of March, six people had already been charged and jailed in this case – five men and one woman.
The brother of Amine Kessachi, a figure in the fight against drug trafficking in the city of Marseille, was completely alien to human trafficking and unknown to the police and the justice system. The 20-year-old was shot several times in the middle of the day in Marseille on November 13, 2025, causing strong emotions.

These four new arrests were carried out by investigators from the Marseille judicial police with the support of the Central Office for the Fight against Organized Crime. About thirty agents were mobilized to solve this crime alone.
Three of those arrested were removed from their cells because they were already incarcerated on charges related to organized crime. However, according to our information, the three suspects have more of a logistical profile. They are suspected of assisting the organization before or after a crime by providing telephones, weapons or hiding places. The latter is introduced as a “shooter”, a gunslinger, from DZ Mafia.
