A double intervention by the State Police in Modena, where officers prosecuted two people suffering from the same number of restrictions. The operation, which was the result of investigations by the Administrative Police and the Security Police, was completed by members of the Flying Squad, who tracked down the two fugitives within a few hours.
The first to be handcuffed on Wednesday, July 15, was a 52-year-old woman. An arrest warrant issued by the prosecutor’s office at the Florence court was pending against him. The woman must serve the remainder of a one-year prison sentence for a bankruptcy fraud crime committed in the Tuscan capital in 2018.
However, that night there was a second arrest. Police arrested a 39-year-old man who was subject to an international arrest warrant for extradition issued directly by the Swiss authorities.
For both those arrested, after completing the procedures and ritual duties at the police station, the doors of the prison were opened, where they will remain at the disposal of the relevant judicial authorities.
