The Duchess of Sussex is not expected to appear at any more public events this week, which was confirmed during her husband, the Duke of Sussex’s visit to the UK.

It had already been announced that Meghan and their children Archie and Lilibet would not join Prince Harry earlier in the week due to a row over security.

But there were still rumors she would attend later events, including an event at the NEC in Birmingham on Friday to promote the Invictus Games.

It is unknown whether Meghan will be in the UK for any private visits, as reports have emerged that she may still be bringing her children.

Meghan’s representatives have not confirmed whether she plans to travel to the UK this week or is already in the country.

It is another moment of uncertainty in a chaotic visit aimed at promoting the Invictus Games for wounded servicemen, which will be held in Birmingham next year.

Details of the trip were released two weeks ago, including that Meghan would appear at events in London and Birmingham, her first appearance in the UK since 2022.

But after a row over security levels, Meghan pulled out of the events in London, although the possibility of her appearing at events later this week in Birmingham remained open.

Now this door appears to be closed.

Her representatives have not commented on any private meetings, which could mean King Charles could meet his grandchildren Archie and Lilibet, as well as Prince Harry and Meghan.
