After the MCU expanded Peter Parker’s Spider-Verse, Kevin Feige is hoping fan favorite Miles Morales will join the franchise.
The Marvel Studios boss recently shared plans for Spider-Man’s black alter-ego to appear in a future film once he’s done saving the world in Sony Pictures’ animated Spider-Verse franchise, which concludes on June 18, 2027 Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse.
“The good news is that Sony has Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse series that are very popular and excellent, and Beyond the Spider-Verse “Coming out next year,” Feige told China’s Watching Hollywood. “But yeah, we definitely have plans (for a live-action Miles) and I think it’s destined for a live-action Spider-Man movie to add Miles sometime after the end of the Spidey series.
Following Miles Morales’ big screen debut in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2023), Shameik Moore reprises his voice role as Marvel’s Web-Slinger next year. Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Versein which Miles becomes trapped in an alternate universe and goes on the run to save his family.

“Audiences around the world were excited because they knew this could be a nod to Miles’ Spider-Man,” Feige said.
Feige added: “We’ve been thinking about and discussing new Spider-Man adventures, regardless of agreements or contracts. My producing partner, Amy Pascal, is already working on it, and we’ve had in-depth discussions about what the next two, three, four and five Spider-Man films could be about.”
In 2023, Pascal confirmed that a Miles Morales live-action film was in development. “You’ll see it all. It’s all happening,” she said. Diversity.
