Kate Middleton Wimbledon: Princess of Wales brought adult children and husband to Wimbledon men's singles final

The Princess of Wales made her last stunning appearance at Wimbledon, this time taking her husband and two eldest children with her.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte looked incredibly grown up as they arrived to watch the men’s singles final between Jannik Sinner and Alexander Zverev on Sunday.

Kate looked radiant with her hair elegantly loose and her muted olive green dress featured a butterfly pin in the Wimbledon colors of purple and dark green.

Prince George, who turns 13 in just a few days, will soon tower over his mother. The second in line to the throne looked like a young man in a suit and striped tie, walking confidently next to his mother.

11-year-old Princess Charlotte wore a blue dress and ballet shoes for the occasion.

Pope William, Prince of Wales, brought up the rear. He may be next in line to the throne, but he seems happy to let his stylish wife and children lead the way.

The couple’s youngest child, Prince Louis, was not present at the event. Although he became famous for often attracting attention with his brash behavior at public events, he is now eight years old, so perhaps he is no longer at the age for such antics.

However, he apparently did not receive an invitation to this year’s men’s singles final at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, of which the Princess of Wales is a royal patron.

As always, George and Charlotte stole the show as they joined guests in the Royal Box.

The siblings are no strangers to Wimbledon and seem to feel right at home in the Royal Box. At one point they greeted German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, George looking very grown up and shaking his hand.

Catherine and Princess Charlotte also shared some sweet moments as mother and daughter and were like two peas in a pod when reacting to the actions at the trial.

Radiant in red at the women’s singles final

The Princess of Wales arrived at Wimbledon on Saturday (Sunday morning AEST) for the women’s singles final, looking radiant in a Roland Mouret dress with a red belt.

Before taking her seat in the Royal Box to watch Karolina Muchova take on compatriot Linda Noskova, Kate met with players, officials and volunteers.

Catherine accessorized her wool draped origami peplum dress with her green and purple Wimbledon brooch.

The 44-year-old added a ruby and diamond pendant and matching drop earrings to complete the look, and wore her long wavy locks in a half updo to show it off.

The royal who presented trophies to two Czech tennis players at the end of the match may have chosen the outfit for several reasons.

Kate is known to be good at diplomatic attire, with a red outfit referencing the Czech flag and also dressed in style for England’s World Cup match later on Saturday night (7am Sunday EST).

Many online fans thought the look was a reference to Wimbledon’s famous strawberries and cream tradition.

Ekaterina was seen several times at the 2026 tournament.

The princess showed up unannounced on July 2, surprising visitors by chatting with them as they queued to get in and even trying her hand at selling tickets.

For the summer tennis day, she wore a blue linen trouser suit by Gabriela Hearst, which she paired with a white top.

After interacting with fans, she watched two matches, cheering on England players Arthur Fehry and Katie Swan as they welcomed Finland’s Otto Virtanen and USA’s Madison Keys respectively.

Although we’re used to seeing her in the Royal Box, Catherine chose to sit in the usual seats in the courtyard.

She even participated in a series of “Overheard” videos on Wimbledon’s Instagram account, where hidden microphones recorded snippets of her conversation.

In a candid video shared with the page’s thousands of followers, she responded to the court action and spoke about the National Three Peaks Challenge, which she recently completed to raise money for cancer research.

As Royal Patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club (a position given to her by the late Queen Elizabeth II in 2016), Catherine is a mainstay at Wimbledon every year.

She enjoys watching tennis and is also an avid gamer; her new Windsor home, Forest Lodge, even boasts a courtyard.
