Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) has declared the HSC Science Supplementary Result 2026. The overall pass percentage is 27.36% with 4411 students eligible for the Higher Secondary Certificate. Girls achieved better pass rates than boys in the majors, while regular candidates outperformed repeaters. (Representative image) Gujarat HSC Science Supplementary Result 2026: Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB), Gandhinagar, has declared the results of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Science Supplementary Examination 2026 with an overall pass percentage of 27.36%. The supplementary examination provided students who were unable to pass the February–March 2026 board examinations with another opportunity to obtain a Higher Secondary Certificate.According to the board, 18,549 candidates registered for the exam and 16,120 students appeared for the exam. Of these, 4,411 candidates successfully qualified for the HSC certificate.

Thousands of students from all over Gujarat participated in the supplementary exam to improve their exam results.
Group A is superior to Group B
Among the three science stream groups, Group A performed the highest with a pass percentage of 32.29%, significantly ahead of Group B which registered 25.85%. Group AB reported the lowest success rate of 14.29%, although the number of candidates in this category remained very small.
Girls outperform boys in key areas
Gender analysis shows that girls achieved a higher pass percentage than boys in both Group A and Group B. In Group A, girls scored 35.46% marks, ahead of boys who scored 31.39%. Similarly, in Group B, girls achieved 28.50% as compared to 22.42% for boys.The AB group had very limited participation with two boys qualifying and none of the four girls competing in this category passing.
