Galaxy S27 reveals details about the lineup cameras and silicon carbon

While the Galaxy Z Fold 8 series has only just debuted, some rumors have already emerged about Samsung’s next bulky flagships: the Galaxy S27 series is reportedly changing the lineup and offering camera upgrades.

In the new report WinFuture details changes to the upcoming Galaxy S27 lineup, including new evidence that a “Galaxy S27 Pro” is coming.

Based on import/export data, this report found that Samsung’s next flagship lineup will consist of four smartphones, which are expected to be split into two “base” devices and two higher-end flagships, similar to Apple’s iPhone strategy. This has been expected for some time: the Galaxy S27 Pro is said to join the lineup as a smaller Ultra counterpart, with better cameras compared to the standard Galaxy S27 and S27+.

These devices appear to be codenamed “Next Miracle” and there will be “NM1”, “NM2”, “NM3” and “NM4” on the way.

Report and one of GalaxyClub adds that Samsung is set to update the camera setup, with the main updates being a new sensor for the 50MP main camera on the S27 and S27+, an updated 50MP ultra-wide camera on the S27 Pro and Ultra (the same one found on the Galaxy Z Fold 8), and new selfie cameras on the top two models.

  • Galaxy S27: Main camera 50 MP with new sensor, ultra-wide-angle 12 MP, telephoto to be announced later
  • Galaxy S27+: Main camera 50 MP with new sensor, ultra-wide-angle 12 MP, telephoto to be announced later
  • Galaxy S27 Pro: Main camera TBD, 50MP ultra-wide (Sony IMX855), 5x 50MP telephoto, 16MP selfie with autofocus
  • Galaxy S27 Ultra: Primary camera to be announced later (probably 200MP), 50MP ultra-wide (Sony IMX855), 50MP 5x telephoto, second telephoto TBD, 16MP selfie with autofocus

Besides this, also another The report states that the Galaxy S27 series will use silicon-carbon batteries. Samsung took this step for the first time with its new foldable Galaxy devices this week. The capacity is unclear, but it does not appear to be a “significant increase.” This may or may not apply across the entire line due to “cost issues.” The same source recently mentioned that Privacy Display may not extend to other S27 models.
