SAN ANTONIO – It’s a dark night on the South Side.
A candlelight vigil was held in honor of missing 7-month-old Ozana Cisneros after authorities discovered skeletal remains during a search for her in Concepcion Park.
Family members, friends and supporters gathered at the park Tuesday evening to pray for Ozana’s safe return.

The baby was last seen on June 10 at a home on Roosevelt Avenue.
San Antonio police canceled the AMBER Alert on Monday but said Ozana remains missing and investigators are continuing to search for her.
On Friday, police found Ozana’s mother, Maximin Cisneros, at a home on Parkview Drive, but the child was not with her.

During the search, authorities discovered skeletal remains in Concepción Park. Investigators have not confirmed whether the remains are Ozane’s.
Rose Menchaca, a friend of Ozana’s grandmother, attended the vigil and recalled meeting the baby when she was just three days old.
“My heart just went out to her,” Menchaca said. “I fell in love with her. She’s still a child. I just pray that wherever she is, she won’t be in this heat.”
Police have not announced any arrests in connection with Ozana’s disappearance.
The mother’s boyfriend, Isaiah Lopez, was taken into custody Friday, according to a source familiar with the investigation.
Lopez tried to escape from San Antonio police officers before he was arrested. He was also wanted on an outstanding warrant.
During the arrest, officers reportedly discovered a firearm, and Lopez was booked on an outstanding warrant as well as a firearm-related charge.
