Facebook users can once again access their accounts after a previous outage locked them out.
The issue was first raised at 5:30 pm on Sunday, July 19, when thousands of users around the world complained that they were unable to log into their accounts.
According to Perth Now, the network’s phone app is operating as normal.

As of 4pm on Sunday, Down Detector had logged more than 3,000 complaints, with countless others posting their complaints elsewhere on the internet. That number had dropped to 61 as of 8:40 p.m.
Earlier in the night, users were faced with the message: “Account is temporarily unavailable. Your account is currently unavailable due to an issue on the site. We expect the issue to be resolved soon. Please try again in a few minutes.”
At its peak, 62% of reported issues were related to the website, 21% to mobile devices, and 11% to the app.
At the time of publication, Meta had not provided an official explanation for the outage.
The crashes on Instagram and Messenger also seem to have stopped.
According to Downdetector, there were nearly 2,000 reports of Instagram being down at 6:30 p.m. As of Sunday evening, only 158 reports had been received.
Previously, about 37 percent of problems were related to the app, another 33 percent were related to the feed/timeline, and another 25 percent were related to publishing and sharing.
According to Downdetector, there were 200 complaints about Facebook Messenger being unavailable around the same time. This number has now dropped to 12.
About 21 percent of reported problems were related to the app, while another 29 percent were related to the website. Another 29 percent reported problems with voice calls.
