Severe storms with hail and heavy rain again hit parts of Baden-Württemberg on Saturday. In the afternoon, the German Weather Service (DWD) issued a severe weather warning level 3 out of 4 specifically for the Reutlingen area, the southern district of Esslingen and the southern district of Ravensburg. Among other things, photographs from Reutlingen can be seen on social networks. And again centimeter-sized hailstones fell to the ground. There have been no reports of any damage at this time.
The Sea-You Festival on Lake Tunis north of Freiburg had to be temporarily interrupted. Through the festival’s Instagram account, those in charge advised visitors to remain in their cars. The arrival of shuttle buses was delayed due to the storm.
There is no word yet on possible damage caused by the storm.
