Many people invest a lot of money in their health: some even spend 100 euros per liter on fruit juice. Consumers have now chosen the LaVita brand’s mostly concentrate product as the “boldest advertising lie” of the year. This is the result of a survey by consumer organization Foodwatch. 39 percent of the 66,000 online survey participants voted for “micronutrient concentrate” as the candidate. Negative price “Golden cream puff”as reported by Foodwatch. “LaVita is actively capitalizing on health-conscious consumers,” explained Alina Nitsche of Foodwatch. “The juice is an example of a rip-off with misleading health promises.” The product, touted as a “pure potion”, is made up of 70 per cent fruit juice concentrate, plus added vitamins and nutrients – “sometimes in overdose”, Foodwatch adds. There is a negative price since 2009inform consumers about products that should be left in the store.
