Rumors from Karetsas to El Mala

Borussia Dortmund have so far signed two defenders, Joan Gada (19) and Caouan Prates (17), who will join the team after he turns 18 in August. Midfielder Justin Lerma (18) is in the team two years after his signing. BVB is still waiting for immediate reinforcements in attack, where two players remain, Karim Adeyemi (22, Barcelona) and Julian Brandt (30, contract expired). Sporting director Ole Book explained during the test match against Fortuna Dusseldorf on Saturday why it still hasn’t worked.
“Of course, we would like to sign a striker, but, in the end, you need to pay attention to the laws of the market and keep up with the times,” Book said on Sky. We know what we want. The Greek Gazette reported on Saturday a new offer from Dortmund for 29 million euros, excluding bonuses and a 10 percent resale share for KRC. However, Genk demands 40 million euros, and Milan wants to compete with BVB. However, Sky previously reported a higher offer from the runner-up: €30 million in transfer fees, €5 million in bonuses and 20 percent on resale.

BVB does not comment on rumors about El Mala
Dortmund’s record-breaking offer to Bundesliga star Said El Mal (19) has also recently been reported, which is said to have “irritated” 1.FC Cologne. According to Bild, the in-demand Storm talent is worth €34 million plus €6 million in bonuses for BVB. Sky reported an offer of €26 million in base remuneration, including €8 million in easily achievable bonus payments and €8 million in rather unlikely bonuses. Both offers are far from the package that Brentford put together: a volume of 50 million euros plus participation in the resale.
When asked about El Mala, Book did not want to comment, but let it be known that not everything is necessarily true: “Basically, I think everyone knows that we do not comment on players who are not Borussia Dortmund players. I am glad that we at BVB are maintaining unity among the ranks so that nothing gets out, because the amount of false information over the last few days has been very significant.”
