Stuttgart – In honor of this home, the new home jersey has a special look. BILD knows what’s behind it.

The new VfB T-shirt pays tribute to the home region of Bad Cannstatt and its mineral water resources. 13 wells in the city are healing springs of national importance. In addition, Cannstatt’s international reputation as a resort and bathing town in the mid-19th century contributed to the resort’s English visitors being introduced to football earlier than almost anywhere else in Germany. And thus contributed to the great football traditions of Cannstatt.

The striking design of the new VfB T-shirt is characterized by visible and tactile raised motifs throughout the surface, inspired by the Cannstätter “Klösterlebrunnen” and combined with typical regional symbols such as reindeer poles or Rössle. The red chest ring is visually elongated above the colored sleeves and flows upward, inspired by Kannstätter mineral water.

Smile once! Finn Jelch (19) and Angelo Stiller (25) wear the new VfB jersey. What do the fans think?

It is this detail that has already caused heated discussions on the Internet even before its publication on Wednesday. So In mid-June, a photo of an alleged photo shoot of VfB supplier JAKO circulated on the X platform.in which two models are wearing a new tank top. The knit sleeves in particular caused mixed feelings at the time. While the white and red jersey is simple in many ways and reminiscent of its predecessors, this detail is completely new and has sparked debate online.

“The value of our Motherland”

VfB Chairman of the Board Alexander Werle (51): “Our jerseys for the upcoming season represent a unique tribute to our home town of Bad Cannstatt. They combine our deep-rooted traditions with modern, fashionable designs. A big thank you to our partners JAKO and LBBW who, together with our merchandising team, have once again developed a special line of VfB T-shirts. I’m confident they will please our fans and help us enjoy an exciting season.”

New T-shirts are now in stock WSE-Available online store. Ticket price for adults is 89.99 euros, for children – 69.99 euros. The professionals will be seen wearing the new home shirt for the first time at the start of public training on Thursday 16 July at the club grounds.
