Arsenal have completed the signing of German striker Selina Cerci to a permanent contract.

WSL Full-Time were informed of the news in an official club press release from The Gunners this morning.

The 26-year-old striker joined Arsenal immediately after moving to German club Google Pixel Frauen-Bundesliga TSG 1899 Hoffenheim. Cerchi has spent the last two years with Kraichgauer, scoring 34 goals in just 47 appearances.

Before her appearance at TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, the striker played for Bayern Munich II, Werder Bremen, 1. Turbine Potsdam and 1. Koln. She has achieved an impressive goals-to-games ratio for most of her clubs, providing strong competition in attack.

Internationally, Cerci was capped 20 times by Germany and scored five goals. The player was included in the German squad for Women’s EURO 2025.

Following Cerchi’s signing, Arsenal head coach Renee Slegers said: “I am so excited that Celina will be joining our group. She has an impressive performance record, good presence, physical strength and determination to go forward. Combined with her strong work ethic, we believe these qualities make her a great addition to our team.”

Cerci became Arsenal’s second signing in the summer transfer window.
