Indian cricketer Prithvi Shaw’s fiancee Akriti Agarwal has allegedly shared a cryptic post on Instagram, claiming that she has been “cheated on so many times”. Akriti did not mention Shaw or anyone else in the post, which has now gone viral on social media. However, fans are speculating that the post was aimed at Shaw, who she got engaged to in March this year. Contrary to rumors, Akriti has not unfollowed Shaw on Instagram or deleted their engagement posts from social media.
“They cheated on me so many times, but I never said a word. I still can’t believe it after taking a step forward,” Akriti wrote in a post that has now allegedly been deleted by her.
“It’s all true, all the rumors are true. The things you see about him on social media,” she wrote.
Shaw and Akriti got engaged in March this year after dating for a long time.
Agarwal is an actress and social media influencer and has been seen with Prithvi on multiple occasions in the past.
The former India Under-19 World Cup-winning captain was part of the Delhi Capitals squad for IPL 2026 but did not play a single game.
His career was marred by poor fitness and form.
“If I don’t think about coming back, then what’s the point? That’s why I play. Who doesn’t want to play for India? You have to be there and I’m working on it,” Shaw said on Star Sports.
“I enjoyed my life last year. Traveled to several places to keep my mind fresh. Then I returned. Same routine, practiced, worked hard, whether it was my training or batting. Whatever I did before, I started doing it three times more. I think it was a good break for me. I don’t see it as a step back, but it was a necessary break so I’m mentally stronger again,” he added.
