ICC T20I Rankings, Ishan Kishan at Top: Indian wicket-keeper batsman Ishan Kishan has done wonders to reach the top spot in the T20 rankings. The International Cricket Council (ICC) released its latest rankings on Wednesday (July 1), ranking Ishan Kishan number one in T20.

Ishaan has snatched the number 1 position from fellow player Abhishek Sharma, who has now dropped to the second spot. Ishaan’s rating is 876 and Abhishek’s rating is 869. Also at the top of the rankings is Pakistani batsman Sahibzada Farhan, who is in third position. His rating is 848. However, his position has not changed in the latest rankings.

Looking ahead, England’s Phil Salt is in fourth position with 792 ratings and Sri Lanka’s Pathum Nissanka is in fifth position with 751 ratings. Thus, the top 5 rankings included two players from India, one from Pakistan, one from England and one from Sri Lanka.

Suryakumar Yadav defeated

Suryakumar Yadav, who was earlier ranked 7th, has dropped to 8th position. Let us inform you that with the loss of captaincy, Surya has also left the Indian team. There seems to be very little hope for his return to the team. There are a total of 4 Indian batsmen in the top 10. It also features Tilak Verma, number six.

Indian players suffer losses in bowling rankings

If we look at the T20 bowling rankings, Indian players will also suffer losses. Varun Chakraborty, the only Indian bowler in the top 5, has dropped to third place. Currently, Varun’s rating is 725. While Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah, who was previously ranked fifth, has dropped to sixth position. Bumrah’s rating is 688. Varun and Bumrah are the only two Indians in the top 10 bowling ratings.
