How did his 2025/26 season go?

Busy! For the second campaign in a row, Sano started every game for Mainz. In fact, since he joined the club from Kashima Antlers in July 2024, he has only failed to complete a league match twice. The tireless midfielder also scored his first Bundesliga goal and added a couple of assists.
