DoorDash’s instant delivery app was down for thousands of users Sunday afternoon, according to DownDetector. Users are reporting receiving a “something went wrong” error message when trying to access delivery services on DoorDash.

On DownDetector, which tracks such outages based on user reports, about 6,000 users report problems with DoorDash.
According to DownDetector, users reported a variety of issues, including “something went wrong” and “unexpected error, please try again” messages.

However, most users reported that these problems occurred when they tried to check out their shopping carts. 38% said the app didn’t work and 17% reported problems with their order.
DoorDash has not released an official update at this time, although hundreds of users of the popular instant delivery platform have complained online about ordering errors. No responses are sent through the DoorDash Help X account, which is tasked with handling user complaints on the platform.
Frustrated users complain about problems
Hundreds of frustrated DoorDash users took to social media to express frustration over the outage. DoorDash has approximately 56 million monthly active users, of which approximately 60% reside in the United States.
Many of them appeared on X to complain about the problems on Sunday afternoon.
“DoorDash is being naughty. Do I have to cook for myself tonight? Oh my god,” one user wrote.
“Door Dash, are you all having any problems in the Raleigh, North Carolina area?” added one. “We keep trying to place an order and keep getting an error message. Tried on two different phones.”
“Did DoorDash take someone’s money with an ‘error’ tonight or just mine?” said one.
“DoorDash fix this damn wonky app. I’m trying to feed my family,” one angry user wrote.
“DoorDash what’s going on? I’m hungry and I’m about to starve 😭,” another added.
“How long will this continue on DoorDash???? I need food lol,” one said.
