During a recent conversation with her fans at X Spaces, Cardi B revealed that one of her ex-partners threatened to kill himself after she broke up and also threatened her life.
“You see what happens when the bitches really leave,” she told her fans. “We all saw how he almost wanted to commit suicide when I left. “I didn’t even want to bring it up because I don’t even want to pretend like I’m trying to attack an ass or something.”
She also said that people often comment on her relationship and noted that they never end up with the woman they cheated with.
“Why aren’t they with them? Why won’t they be with them when I leave?” she said. “They got brand new bitches. Why did they attack me? Because it’s only because of my name. Because it’s just because of my name, because I’m Cardi B. Then it’s like, why do you almost want to kill yourself, and you all see it in real time, everyone sees it in real time.

Although she never mentions him by name, Cardi went to Spaces in 2025, claiming that Offset stalked her after she approached his new girlfriend with screenshots of messages he sent to the “Bodak Yellow” rapper. She also claimed that he was suicidal.
Earlier this year, a judge reportedly denied Offset’s request for a paternity test on Cardi and Diggs’ baby as part of their ongoing divorce proceedings. She filed for divorce from the rapper in 2024 and asked for primary custody of their children.
During her marriage to Offset, social media personality Selina Powell claimed to be pregnant with his child. In January, Powell shared a video of herself and Offset in bed, and she later claimed he threatened her daily and owed her thousands.
