Two suspects are still at large, according to Seattle police.
SEATTLE — Seattle police are searching for two BASE jumpers who jumped from the Space Needle Friday night, leaving visitors and witnesses in shock as they reached the ground.
“Two guys broke out and ran to the window. I’m talking about 10 seconds: run to the very top, climb over it, run and do a backflip. I mean, it was so crazy because everyone was scared at first when they ran out,” said Jacob Jarreau, who was near the observation deck.

Jarreau comes to Seattle for work from Boulder, Colorado. When he realized what was happening, he took out his phone and started recording.
“That first moment when they ran out of the bathroom, it was really scary because I didn’t know what the hell they were doing and it looked a little creepy because they were all covered up,” he said. “But it only took a second or two before I realized, oh my God, they’re going to jump. So I immediately grabbed my phone.”
The video was viewed nearly 5 million times in 24 hours.
“One of the craziest things was … people who were a couple floors below were commenting, ‘Oh my God, we just saw them fall past us’ … It was crazy, it was wild, and it definitely got the adrenaline going,” Jarreau said.
According to the Seattle Police Department, two men purchased tickets and scanned the building around 8:50 p.m. Security could not confirm where they landed and officers did not locate either man. They are charged with first-degree murder.
