On the climb up the iconic Col du Galibier, the Auberge de Plan Lachat offers timeless relaxation. Two or three nights a week, Ghislaine and her daughters host a candlelit dinner. In this warm and authentic setting, guests enjoy a traditional stew, fondue or delicious blueberry pie, continuing a family tradition passed down through generations. During the day the hotel is a meeting point for cyclists and tourists.

Following in the footsteps of alpine fauna
Twilight is the perfect time to watch nature awaken. A guided holiday in a protected valley at the foot of the majestic Aiguille d’Arves will allow you to encounter mountain animals. Freshness of alpine lakes
The family-friendly hike leading to Lake Serces, located at an altitude of 2410 meters, is a real breath of fresh air. From the Plan Lachat car park, the 1 hour 45 minute climb winds through pastures and playful marmots. The effort will be rewarded with views of the turquoise waters of the lake and the breathtaking panorama of the Grand Galibier.

Suspended Adventures for Kids and Adults
Hell’s Forest is the perfect playground for the whole family. From the age of 2, children can try climbing trees in the safe Kids Space area at eye level. The Fort du Telegraph, a 19th-century fortified structure located at an altitude of 1,580 meters, transforms into an adventure destination. From June 15 to September 15 (Monday, Tuesday and Friday), the site offers outdoor laser games sessions, as well as several quest games suitable for all ages, from missions for the little ones (“Mission Super Patafuen”) to an exciting family investigation (“The Mystery of the War Chest”).
