I played the Royals vs. Tigers game last night and to spoil the surprise, it was a loser. I picked the Royals at +170 mainly because I felt the line was still a long way off. I cashed out the under anyway, but I hope anyone who is serious about sports betting will take a look at this article. Despite the loss, I liked the play. The Royals, who lost 4-3, had tremendous value. There are times when you have to take pictures, and this moment rewarded me mentally because I feel like I at least put myself in the right position to make money. I’m hoping to get paid physically at tonight’s Astros-White Sox game.
The Houston Astros are still hanging in there, but need to consider whether they’re going to buy, sell, or stay put next week. They are four games under .500 on the season, but just two games behind the American League West Division. This is not exactly the situation if you are planning to give up. Their best player, Yordan Alvarez, is having an MVP season, which is all the more reason to keep pushing and see if they can make it to the postseason.

They had already traded one of their starters, but I don’t think that was a sign that the team was trying to throw in the towel. I think it was more about their roster and pay than anything else. They’re striking out Spencer Arrigetti on the mound today. On the season, Arrighetti is 7-5 with a 4.34 ERA and 1.31 WHIP. He was worse on the road with a 5.52 ERA. He has also allowed eight earned runs in both of his last two road starts. I think he will probably solve the problems he had in June. He had a 0.93 ERA in May and a 9.00 ERA in June. So far in three starts, he has allowed eight earned runs in four innings and two earned runs in 11 innings spanning two starts.
The Chicago White Sox were expected to sell, but this team has moxie and looks like they’re putting things together. One of the reasons sports are so exciting is teams like the White Sox. A team that no one expected anything from this year, and they were successful in the playoff race. There’s still a long way to go and one injury could derail everything, but if you’re a Sox fan, you should have confidence in the way they played and looked.

One of the highlights of this lineup was today’s starter Davis Martin. Martin is 9-5 on the year this season with a 3.31 ERA and 1.27 WHIP. Martin has been elite in the guaranteed field this season with a 1.80 ERA. He allowed only nine earned runs at home in 45 innings. And five of those earned runs came in his last start against the Red Sox. Perhaps most impressively, he allowed just 33 walks all year and only came home 10.

Baseball is a sport in which you usually have the ability to follow sharp angles and line movement fairly confidently. There are not many public bettors on teams. The hot money tends to move these lines, and the line moves in the Astros’ favor. However, the sharp ones don’t always win either. There is also an option where they bet on one side just to lower the line and get more money on the opposite side. I could see it happening here.

If you don’t understand what this means, don’t worry. Basically, I think the White Sox are going to win this game. Martin is a better pitcher, in better shape and a more reliable starter. Arrighetti has been bad on the road and something has been wrong with him since June. It’s possible that the Sharps saw good value in the Astros, but now that the line is much lower, I think the Sox are the right side and they could see money being poured into them late. Give me the White Sox on the line.
